Overall researches of the Campus are carried out under three streams:
1. MA programmes by faculty, teachers and students (such as for the requirement of MA Degree, completion of project works by making field visits and teachers individual researches such as project evaluation, end-line surveys of various government and non-government organizations)
2. Department/faculty researches such as funded by University Grants Commission (UGC), Tribhuvan University Research Division and other research institutes
3. Research Management Cell (RMC)
The Campus has established Research Management Cell (RMC) in 2013 through which the overall research activities are carried out. The RMC conducts annually the researches under faculty and mini schemes through open competition among the faculties of the campus. The members of the RMC are comprised of the representatives from the three faculties: Humanities and Social Sciences, Management and Science.
With the joint effort of these faculties, the Campus is proposed to develop as the Centre of Excellence. Three phases of min and faculty researches have been completed so far by RMC utilizing PKC's own fund. Among them, mini researches are 27 and faculty projects are four till the end of 2018. RMC has conducted the following seminars so far:

2016: Research Methodology Seminar for Potential Researchers, PhD/MPhil Candidates Learning through Laboratory Education: The Grooming Policy of the Campus
2016: Refresher Course Training for MA Faculty in Political Science, Psychology, Dance and Fashion Designing in Padma Kanya Multiple Campus
2017: Industry-Academia Dialogue for Quality Education and Research in Higher Education
2018: Geographical Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS)
